我々の日本の顧客はXXX-101の機械的な問題に直面しています。

XXX-101は、2012年3月10日に設置されました。
XXX-101は、2012年3月20日にテストしましたが、まったく動作しませんでした。
この問題は、最初のテストで起こりました。
3月30日、我々の技術者が問題の調査のため、現地に向かいました。XXX-101のモーターが壊れていました。ギアボックスの接続も確認しましたが、不具合は発見されませんでした。

我々のコメントは下記りとおりです。
1) 我々は、元々のXXX-101が初期不良品（out of box failure: 箱を開けたら不良品）のはずだと信じています。
2) 我々は、不具合が誤配線、未配線、または短絡によって起きたものではないかと疑っています。

ご想像のとおり、この状況は我々のビジネスに影響を及ぼします。
我々はできるだけ早く解決策を見つけ、そしてこの問題の原因の可能性に関して、あなたからの早急な回答を必要としています。
ポイントの一つとして、あなたがどのように出荷検査を実施しているのかを知りたいです。全数検査ですか? それとも抜き取り検査ですか?

Subject: Request for investigation / XXX-101mechanical problems

Dear Mr. X,

One of our Japanese customers is facing a mechanical problems of XXX-101.

XXX-101 was installed on March 10, 2012. XXX-101 was tested on March 20, 2012, but it did not work at all. This problem happened at the first test.
On March 30, our engineer went to the field to investigate the problem. It was found that the motor of XXX-101was broken. The gear box was also checked, but no failure was found.

Our comments is as follows;
1) We believe the original XXX-101 was out of box failure.
2) We suspect the failure was caused by miswiring, disconnected wire, or short circuit.

As you can imagine, this situation is affecting our business.
We would like to find a solution as quickly as possible and need to receive quick response from you as to the possible cause of this problem.
One of the points we would like to know is how the outgoing inspection from you are performed, total inspection, or random inspection?
